Fourth GA Man To Be Executed Tonight

Georgia is preparing to execute its fourth death row inmate, Kenneth Fults, who shot a woman to death during a burglary in 1996. Kenneth Fults, 47, is set to be put to death at 7 p.m. Tuesday by injection of the barbiturate pentobarbital at the state prison in Jackson. Fults pleaded guilty in 1997 to killing 19-year-old Cathy Bounds in January 1996. Kenneth Fult's attorneys failed to inform the jury of his abusive childhood, his low IQ, reading at only a 9 year old level, and eight years ago, one of the jurors who has since died, signed a sworn statement which said, "I don’t know if he ever killed anybody, but that n***** got just what should have happened."
